16 Voices & Expanded Features

The Pro-16 comes with 16 analog voices, all using authentic Prophet-5 V3340 VCO oscillators and V3320 filters. The synth features multitimbral patch layering, modern connectivity, and many more exciting features for expanded sound creation possibilities well beyond the original Prophet-5, all while maintaining its classic character.

True to the Original

Behringer has been working on the Pro-16 synth for a decade, in order to stay true to the Prophet-5's classic sound. Replicating much of the circuitry from the Prophet-5, the Pro-16 catpures the distinct synth sound and feel that the Prophet-5 made famous on countless hits of the 70s, 80s, and beyond, while adding features to bring it to the next dimension of sonic experimentation for modern users.

Affordable Magic

Behringer's commitment to their customers is affordable synths for everyone, not just for rich elites. Like the well-received UB-Xa before it, musicians of every income level can enjoy this flagship synth at a price they can afford. The retail price is estimated to be similar to the UB-Xa at £899/€999/$1299.
